Meet Your Teacher
Mrs. Pisani has been teaching at DMA since 2008. She is a graduate of the University of Delaware, with a B.A. in Secondary Math Education. Although Mrs. Pisani grew up in New York State, she has been living in the state of Delaware since 2003. Mrs. Pisani is married and has two sons. Mrs. Pisani has taught almost every math class offered at the high school level, but primarily has been an Algebra 1 teacher for the last 11 years. This year, she teachers CP and Honors Algebra 1, Honors Discrete Math, and AP Calculus AB. Mrs. Pisani also oversees the Big-Little Program and tutors cadets in math, after school.

- Texas Instruments graphing calculator (See specifications below)
- 3-Ring binder with at least 4 dividers
- College-ruled loose leaf paper
- Graph paper
- Mechanical pencils
- Skinny dry-erase markers (you will need 2)
- index cards
Graphing calculator options: (Texas Instrument brand is preferred)
If you're going to buy a new calculator, get the TI-84 plus or the Color Edition
If you already have a TI-83+ in the family, don't buy a new one
